Lynette Pierce was born and raised in Fresno, California. There she attended Fresno State University of Fresno and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. Soon after she moved to Star Valley, Wyoming, which is just south of world famous Jackson Hole. However she returned to her California home in December, 2006, where she lives with her two dogs and Friesian Horses.
True to her romantic nature, she loves watching the sun set and cuddling up to a warm fire on chilly evenings. Also, having spent a lot of time in the Sierra Nevada Mountains growing up, she has retained her love of the great outdoors. She can often be found riding amongst the trees on one of her horses, or walking down a path with her dogs.
Lynette was selected as the 2009 January Featured Author of the Month by Booklockerbooks.com. Additionally, she periodically does speaking engagements and particually enjoys talking in schools to get the youth excited about reading and writing. Last year Lynette frequently traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area for book signings, as well as participating in the canned food drive for the Salvation Army and the "Meals on Wheels for Campanion Animals" program for the Ohlone Humane Society.
Lynette's first novel, "Crystal of My Heart," not only won the Editor's Choice Award, but also the Reader's Choice Award by IUniverse. Her second book, "Guardian of My Heart," and her third book, "Pieces of My Heart," have obtained nothing put positive reviews from the public as well as other authors, and were as warmly rceived as "Crystal."
Currently she is working on her next novel which will be titled, "Reflection of My Heart."
